Detalhes, Ficção e Persona 5 The Phantom X

The characters from Persona 5 / Royal are a special case. They are actual Persona users but have an unknown connection to the protagonist's cognition and appear as cognitions.

They exist in the protagonist's cognition. In the real world, the protagonist either knows them, or has met or heard about them, which even he does not necessarily need to have realized.

As he boards the train, he notices the Metaverse Navigator appear on his phone and the owl from before begins speaking to him. As the protagonist taps the app on his phone, he enters the Metaverse and the owl introduces himself as Lufel. After a scuffle with Shadows, the protagonist awakens his persona and the two fight their way out of Mementos.

The footage was noted to feature the aesthetic and music reminiscent of Persona 5, but the ties to the Persona series were not officially confirmed.[7] The connection was later discovered through image filenames on the website and the binary code at the end of the trailer, which was translated to Persona 5X.[7]

A new feature to this game are Highlight which are performed in a similar vein to Showtime, albeit it is performed with only one character rather than two. After charging up a meter, a character can be selected and they will use a Highlight. Some Highlight like Lufel's are stat buffs or health recovery rather than attacks. The protagonist's highlight has different versions depending on which type Persona that he has summoned with during the battle.

Many of these characters also serve as confidants and/or have side quests that the protagonist can do.

Regarding Kira merely as an unprofessional freshman and prioritizing his career, he obstinately refuses Kira's request to give surgery to the patient and even ignores the patient's will after the patient has made up his mind.

There is also a seperate gacha to obtain weapons for each character. The weapons from the gacha give an specific benefit to the character who equips them. Certain character are variations of another and can’t put two versions of the same character on one team. For example, several characters can't be together in the same team with their own alternate versions such as Mont Persona 5 The Phantom X with her 'Figure Skater' alter version.

Within the Metaverse, Mementos has been entirely overhauled, pelo longer being procedurally generated and has set regions. Aside from that, most of the Metaverse in general has seen little changes. Thieves Tool crafting is still present and the Palaces function identically to their Persona 5 Royal iterations. There is a mysterious park within the Metaverse that functions somewhat like the Thieves Den, having the ability to be customized.

To accommodate the format of a free-to-play game created primarily for mobile devices, Persona 5: The Phantom X adapts the Persona mechanics with various changes.

It combines elements of social simulation, as the protagonist uses his free time to raise stats and forge bonds with characters, and dungeon crawling in the alternate world known as the Metaverse. The cognitive versions of the people met in the city, including the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from the original game, can be summoned for use in the Metaverse through a gacha system.
